FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH

where all are welcomed and embraced in the inclusive Love of God

Our Mission Statement

First Presbyterian Church, Marshfield, Wisconsin seeks to welcome all to join us on our journey of faith, denying no one, based upon their particular human condition, participation in the life of the church. We want to be a safe place, a sanctuary where people are accepted, included, and cared for as they are. We will be agents of God’s transforming power, aligning ourselves with the Holy Spirit as we pray, worship, learn, share fellowship and serve together. By attending to the love of Jesus Christ in our midst, we discover a deepening faith that makes a difference in our lives. As a community based on God’s love, we strive to be of service to our neighbors and to the world.

Our Worship Livestream will be available directly on our Facebook page and on our YouTube Channel. Live-Stream will begin approximately 9:25 with the service starting at 9:30 Sunday morning. Pastor’s Message

It starts with a parade! Palms waving, people shouting, “Hosanna! Save us!” What in your life or the world needs saving? We are 6 weeks into our wild, exhilarating, never-boring journey of “Figuring out Faith with Peter” that will continue through Easter. (Theme supplied by Sanctified Art.) We can only imagine where Peter is in the parade. Where would you be? No one understood what was going on. If you are wondering, you are in good company. With us, and more importantly with God. Join the parade. We have a palm for you.

Join us at 9:30 am on Sunday in person or by Livestream on our Youtube channel or Facebook.

Pride Poles

Pride Poles

Last year when we installed our yarn wraps to show the LGBTQIA community that we support and affirm them, we hoped to start a movement. Well, the movement continues.

The Rainbow Team has created Pride Poles that will be available for a suggested donation of $5 each. We would like to have people throughout the area display these polls in their yards to show the LGBTQIA community that they are not alone. Pride Poles can be purchased in the church office during business hours.
