Our Deacons are responsible for:

• manning the sound system during worship
• supporting efforts of parish nurses
• maintaining an active special card ministry
• sponsoring the “I am your Deacon” program
• hosting the Silent Auction
• ordering, and selling Fair Share Coffee/Chocolate
• sending birthday cards to age 70+ and 10 and under
• securing greeters for all worship services
• securing food for breads and brews                                  
• hosting regular coffee time on Sunday mornings
• making audio tapes of service
• providing deacons (3) at every worship service to:

  make juice and coffee

  serve juice and coffee

  clean up kitchen

  get sanctuary ready

  take offertory collection

  take count on Sunday

  greet worshippers at the door

• planning and hosting "Everybody’s Birthday Party"
• providing transportation to worship service
• hosting special “breads and brews”
• organizing brat fry stands
